Seeding & Fertiliser spreading.
Fertiliser is mainly applied in the spring but can be re-applied later in the year depending on the paddocks use. It is used to increase grass growth and replenish any lost nutrients from years of grazing.
Lime is spread when the soil Ph has dropped too low and become unfertile. An acidic soil is very unproductive and it is important to realise that grass growth directly affected by the soils Ph level. Lime can be applied throughout the growing season but is most effective during late summer and autumn.
